Wintershall gets Maria consent

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has given Germany’s Wintershall consent for the start- up of production from the Maria field in the Norwegian Sea. The project will come onstream nearly one year ahead of the original plan, at lower costs and with slightly increased oil reserves, noted the NPD.
