Entegris to invest $200 million in Taiwan to produce materials

Entegris (Billerica, Massachusetts), a producer of advanced materials, is expanding its manufacturing facility at Kaohsiung Science Park, Taiwan, with an investment of approximately $200 million over the next three to fve years. Entegris plans to commence construction of the new facility in early 2021 and expects to begin initial operations in late 2021 as it ramps to full production in subsequent phases. The company says that it will manufacture flters for microcontamination control, gas delivery systems, and advanced chemistries for chipmakers.
