New rubber chemicals plant in China

CHINA: Zhongjin Fine Chemical has announced plans to build an additives plant in the Wuhai, Inner Mongolia, pending regulatory approval. The first phase includes annual capacity of: 4,000 tonnes MBT (mercaptoben-zothiazole); 8,000 tonnes DPG (diphenyl guanidine); 5,000 tonnes TMTD (te-tramethyl thiuram disul-phide); 10,000 tonnes CBS (n-cyclohexylbenzothia-zyl sulphonamide); 6,000 tonnes DCBS (benzothi-azyl-2-dicyclohexyl sul- phonamide); and 20,000 tonnes carbon disulfide.
