Prediction of Axial Voidage in a Circulating Fluidized Bed

摘要

This work involves experimental investigations on pressure drop of solids in a circulating fluidized bed and estimation of axial voidage along the length of the riser.The inflection point between densephase and dilute phase is determined for each experiment.The effect of system variables like solid circulation rate,gas velocity,particle size and the riser height on axial bed voidage is reported.
