Italy ranks among the top three coatings markets in Europe. As high as the ranking, is the fragmentation of the Italian paints and coatings industry. According to latest estimates, only in the decorative coatings segments the Mediterranean country counts more than 500 manufacturing companies, from small local players to globally active multinationals.
