The industrialized world is now driving all of the growth in global jet fuel consumption. Demand in a group of those countries climbed by 2.7 in April but was partly offset by shrinkage in developing nations. The US and Japan generated most of the gain with strong springtime trends for air traffic demand. Europe endured a setback as slow economic recovery impacts the aviation sector. Canada and Australia/New Zealand showed double-digit gains.
