TechnipFMC to supply technology for Ineos’s planned Antwerp ethane cracker

TechnipFMC’s gas cracker technology will be used in Ineos’s planned 1.45-million metric tons/year ethylene plant at Antwerp, Belgium, Tom Crotty, Ineos group director, tells CW. He was speaking on the sidelines of the Chemical Industries Association(CIA)annual dinner, held recently in London. Crotty says that the engineering, procurement, and construction contract for the Antwerp ethane cracker is yet to be awarded. Wood(Aberdeen, UK)was in 2019 appointed program management partner for Ineos’s entire Antwerp olefins project.
