PetroVietnam Drilling Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling) has sealed a US $6m contract from KrisEnergy to provide the jack-up rig PV DRILLING I for drilling in the Gulf of Thailand (GoT). The work will be undertaken on Block G10/48 in the GoT and the rig will remain on site until it has completed six firm wells and two optional wells. PV DRILLING I is due to start operations in early October 2017.
