Bintulu's ninth train starts commercial production

State-controlled Malaysia LNG (MLNG) has started commercial operations at the Bintulu export facility's ninth train. Commercial operations at the 3.6mn t/yr train in Sarawak began on 1 January, well within the target of starting in the first quarter. The train's start-up in June last year boosted Bintulu's liquefaction capacity to around 30mn t/yr.
