Food smells

摘要

In Hirose Electrical UK Ltd v Peak Ingredients Ltd 21 October 2010 (Chancery Division) the Court found that food smells on a light industrial estate did not amount to a nuisance. Hirose Electrical (the claimants) objected to smells entering its premises. The smells emanated from Peak Ingredients (the defendants) who are a manufacturer of food additives.
