The US is set to export more oil than it imports in 2022 due to rising crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs) production after a pause in US self-sufOciency in 2021. Energy Intelligence expects US crude output to grow by 700,000 barrels per day in 2022, while NGL production is seen adding 500,000 b/d, far outpacing expected domestic demand growth of 500,000 b/d.
