Vedanta boosts power generation capacity

Indian private-sector resources firm and utility Vedanta has boosted its overall power generation capacity to 9,000MW with the addition of three new units at power plants during January-March. The extra capacity was added by two of Vedanta’s subsidiaries, Bharat Aluminium (Balco) and Talwandi Sabo Power (TSPL).
