Colombia’s Pacific LNG terminal tender fails to attract bids

A tender seeking firms to build, own and operate Colombia’s planned LNG terminal in the Pacific seaport of Buenaventura has failed after none of the seven registered participants submitted bids by the deadline. The Pacific LNG terminal, if built, would complement the Cartagena FSRU, with Colombia looking to increase its regas capacity as domestic production is falling.
