Dow Awards Wood Group Contract For PLs Supporting Ethylene Plan

Houston—Dow Chemical has awarded Wood Group Mustang a contract to provide services for construction of about 140 miles of pipelines as part of Dow's plan to build a "world-scale" ethylene plant in Freeport, Texas (PCN, 6 May 2013, p 1). The project involves ethane, ethylene, propane and propylene pipelines, associated interconnections and station modifications between Dow Texas Operations in Freeport and facilities at Mont Belvieu, Texas.
