Sir: In our paper, "Constraints on the genesis of the Archean oxidized, intrusion-related Canadian Malartic gold deposit, Quebec, Canada" (Helt et al., 2014), we describe the mineralogy and geochemistry (including whole-rock chemistry, fluid inclusion leachates, S-O-H isotopes, geothermometry/ barometry, and phase equilibria) of alteration and mineralization associated with the deposit and use these data to interpret its origin.
