GSFC begins neem-coated urea production

GUJARAT State Fertilizers Chemicals Limited (GSFC) has commenced the neem-coated urea. This would be to the extent of 35 of its total urea production. GSFC has in place the necessary infrastructure to commence the production of the neem-coated Urea during current financial year. "Neem-coated urea technology is purely an in-house development of GSFC team and that too at a nominal capital cost. Due to neem coating, urea will have added value of being the one with an eco-friendly natural fungicide in soil over and above nitrogen nutrients which would benefit the crop immensely," said a GSFC press release.
