All's well with EPL

Energy Partners, Ltd (EPL) has revealed four exploration successes on the US Gulf Shelf and onshore during the second quarter, with 11 discoveries out of 15 exploratory tests for the year so far.At Eugene Island 312, the no.1 well, drilled to a total depth of 8,110ft (2,472m), encountered approximately 70ft (21m) of apparent high quality natural gas pay in a single interval.The well, which was a moderate risk, moderate potential well, is expected to be on line by mid-year 2007.
