Ithaca poised on Beatrice Bravo

Ithaca Energy is gearing up to restart production from the Beatrice Bravo platform in the UK North Sea. Well intervention operations to refurbish and restart production wells tied into the platform have moved ahead smoothly and on schedule, the company said. In one well, the standby downhole pump has now been activated and final preparations are being made to start production; this well has been inactive since July 2007.
