UK Breagh shows up gas

Sterling Resources has hit pay in its UK Southern North Sea Breagh appraisal well(42/13-3).The well reached a total depth of 8,047ft(2,454m)and successfully encountered good sands in the upper reservoir with significant gas shows.Sterling said the targeted Carboniferous section was encountered at 7,321ft(2,233m).
