The December average price for printed circuit boards was $7.70 per pound, down 3.9 percent from the November average due to declining values at the end of the year for precious and base metals. However, the December price was still up 9.1 percent over the 2010 month.For all of 2011, the price averaged $7.70 per pound, up 30.5 percent versus the 2010 average. The price in August 2011 hit a record of $8.47 per pound, but receded 9.1 percent in the last quarter of the year.
