Exxon to sell spare PNG LNG

ExxonMobil is marketing 1.3m tonnes per annum (mtpa) of mid-term LNG volumes from its US $19 Bn Papua New Guinea LNG (PNG LNG) plant, reflecting overproduction and an increase in gas reserves. The two-train plant with an original capacity of 6.9mtpa, produced 7.9mtpa, making it possible to offer the excess for sale, Stephen McCusker, vice president of PNG Marketing at ExxonMobil Asia Pacific told Reuters.
