Trinidad Launches Deepwater Bid Round

Trinidad and Tobago has launched a bid round for 17 deepwater blocks off its northern and eastern coasts, Energy Minister Stuart Young told Energy Intelligence on the sidelines of the World Petroleum Congress in Houston. The round opened on Dec. 3 and will remain open for six months. Successful bidders will be announced three months after the round closes, Young said.
