EIA: US Shale Output to Rise in February

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects oil output from the top seven US shale regions to grow by 41,000 b/d to 4.748 million b/d in February from 4.707 million b/d in January. The EIA expects the bulk of that increase to occur in the Permian Basin in West Texas and southeastern New Mexico, where it sees production climbing by 53,000 b/d.
