Nottingham Council removed guard from lawnmower that severed apprentice's finger

Nottingham City Council has been fined 33,000 pounds after an apprentice sustained serious hand injuries, including losing his right index finger, while mowing grass. Nottingham Crown Court heard that the accident happened when the 22 year old worker was on site at Seagrave Primary School on 21 August 2014.
