HSE to enter cyber security arena with chemicals sector strategy

The HSE is to takes its first practical steps in cyber security by devising a strategy for the chemicals sector, according to the regulator's 2017-18 business plan, which sets out "deliverables" in several areas. The plan commits the regulator to prepare the cyber strategy for the approval of its board by September and hold a conference for the major hazard industries on cyber risk early next year, with the Chemical Industries Association.
