摘要

Nanocomposite materials have received considerable attention inrecent ears due to their novel properties. Grain boundaries areconsidered go play an important role in nanostructured materials.This work focuses on the finite element analysis of the effect ofgrain boundaries on the overall Mechanical properties ofaluminium/alumina composites. A grain boundary is incorporated intothe Commonly used unit cell model to investigate its effect onmaterials properties.
