Numerical simulation of the adsorption of hard spheres on a lattice of attractive sites

The adsorption of a dense fluid of hard spheres on a lattice of attractive sites disposed on a planar interface is studied by numerical simulations. These show that the adsorbed spheres associate into clusters and that the adsorption occurs continuously, apparently without orderndash;disorder transition.
