There are many methods to measure indoors positions of a user using devices such a infrared beacon. Many of the particular equipment are quite expensive and take the cost of maintenance for the power rate. In this research, we propose a technique using fiducial markers fixed on the ceiling for measuring positions of a user. First, the fiducial marker is grabbed as video image, which indicates that it is the place where position detection is started. This marker has global position information, and the position of the camera is calculated using relative position of the camera to the marker. Then, computing other positions of markers enable user to get own positions in wide area.
