It aims at generating hydrogen using sodium borohydride. Sodium borohydride has stable character in alkali solution. The Catalyst is needed in order to take out Hydrogen from sodium borohydride. The research is which produces a catalyst more cheaply than the precious metals etc. The performance of catalyst is improved by fluorination of hydriding alloys. And when mixing Co, Ni, and Ti to Mg{sub}2Ni and fluorination were carried out, the durability and performance of a catalyst improved.
