High resolution differential cross sections for the systems Lisngbnd;Kr and Lisngbnd;Xe have been measured with resolution sufficient to obtain the amplitudes as well as the positions of all features including the highest frequency oscillations indsgr;sol;dOHgr;. Two different relative velocities per system were selected for measurement in the range from 1ndash;3 times; 105cmsol;sec. The data were analyzed by fitting model potentials. Values obtained for the range and depth parameters of the potential arermequals;4.78 Aring;, egr; equals; 1.35 times; 10minus;4erg for Lisngbnd;Kr,rmequals;4.80 Aring;, egr; equals; 2.03 times; 10minus;14erg for Lisngbnd;Xe. The data are of sufficient quality to yield additional information about the shape of the intermolecular potential.
