OSiC to start new surfactant plant

Guangzhou,China-OSiC Per formance Materials is to start up a 20kT/year plant in Zhangjiagang,Jiangsu by the end of this year.The Chinese company,which makes surfactants,catalysts and additives,broke ground for the plant two years ago.It is currently in a trial production phase,according to the company's chairman,Zhang Haoming.The new site will also include a national research centre.This will focus on areas such as application testing,and will hold training programmes for downstream manufacturers.
