摘要

The theoretical energy level scheme andgpar;values for the6H11sol;2level of Dy3plus;in La ethyl sulfate have been determined using bothLsngbnd;Sand intermediate coupling. The corresponding experimental values have been found using fields up to 50 kG. These compare favorably with the theoretical predictions. Crystal field splittings andgpar;values have also been obtained for the ground state6H15sol;2and these also agree with previous results and calculations.
