Ailes anciennes toulouse took delivery of former Austrian Air Force SAAB J35OE Draken on November 28, following a road trip from its former base at Zeltweg in southern Austria.The delta-winged fighter, serial 351402, was one of the last Drakens to be retired from service with the type's final operator at the end of 2005. In June of that year it made thelast air display of an in-service Draken outside Austria, when it flew at the Cazaux airshow in southern France.Last flown by 1 Staffel of Fliegerregiment 2 at Zeltweg, the "double-delta" jet has now been reassembled and is on display. It is complete, apart from some items that had to be removed during the demilitarisation process.
