摘要

Delayed fluorescence (DF) occurs in photosyntheti-cally active material and is emitted from living cells. DF excitation spectroscopy is a highly sensitive, nondestructive in-vivo method that needs no sample preparation to determine the concentration of photo-synthetically active pigments and phytoplankton composition, discriminating green algae, chromo-phyte algae, cryptophytes and bluegreen algae (Gerhardt Bodemer 2000). Within the EC-project "Phytoplankton online" a DF excitation spectrometer was developed for monitoring phytoplankton succession online in lakes and rivers.
