Gasoline imports totaled 79.7K mt(21.8K b/d)in March,up from 70.0K mt(21.2K b/d)in Feb.,according to data from Ukrainian customs.Belarus accounts for the lion's share of Ukraine's gasoline imports,having provided 56.IK mt(15.4K b/d)in March and 43.0K mt(13.0K b/d)in Feb.The 241K-b/d Mozyr Oil Refinery provides most of the Belarusian shipments.Between the second half of March and early April,300 mt(2.5K bbl)of A-100 grade gasoline meeting Euro-5 specifications was brought into Ukraine from Mozyr by Ovis Trade.Mozyr just began producing A-100 this year,with the first 60-mt(509-bbl)sale going to a Kazakh company for $600/mt($71/bbl)in a March 4-7 auction.The company bought 60 mt(509 bbl)and 240 mt(2K bbl)of the product at two separate auctions on the Belarusian Oil Trading House site on March 11-15 and March 25-29,respectively.Ovis paid $65/mt($7.66/bbl)over average Argus Eurobob values for the first batch and a similar premium for the second batch.The company manages a 38-station retail network in Ukraine's Kharkiv region.Ovis will decide whether or not to import more of the product from Belarus upon evaluation of sales results of these initial volumes.
