Combined EIA crude and product inventories fell over the week ending June 15 by 2.9MM bbl to 721.5MM bbl. The decline was led by a 3.4MM-bbl crude oil stockdraw, which more than doubled a forecast for a 1.5MM-bbl slide and was despite a marginal rise in imports of 37K b/d to 8.6MM b/d. Middle distillate inventories also fell, posting a modest, surprise drop of 100K bbl to 140.8MM bbl.
