Dynamic light scattering from two liquidlike ordered latex suspensions with particle diameters 85 and 109 nm, as well as the scattering from a 4:1 mixture of these suspensions are investigated. Both the static structure factorSM(K) and the intermediate scattering functionFM(K,tgr;) of the mixture strongly deviate from those of the neat suspensions at low scattering angles. This discrepancy is discussed in terms of an incoherent light scattering contribution due to scatteringhyphen;power polydispersity of the mixture. Our experiments confirm theoretical expressions recently derived by Puseyet al.
