Dynamic structure factor of a dilute polymer solution: Generalized mean field approximation

A simple, systematic numerical procedure is given for calculating the dynamic structure factor of polymeric solutions. As an example, specific calculations are performed for the Rouse chain. The numerical results are in good agreement with those of Pecorarsquo;s exact series summation for both small and large wavelengths.
