摘要

This study attempts to improve the electrochemical properties of working electrode for glucose sensor by applying 40 nm of Ag and 90 nm of SiO2 nanoparticles onto glucose sensor. The study uses cobalt hexacyanoferrate as the required electronic transmitter of current-mode glucose sensor. As known from the measurement results of cyclic voltammetry, Ag and SiO2 nanoparticles can enhance the sensitivity of working electrode in glucose sensor by over 3 times, and enhance the response current by 2 times as well. In addition, the ideal ratio of graphite powder to acrylic in working electrode is 4:10, whereas the ideal ratio of graphite powder to electronic transmitter is 6:4. Furthermore, when glucose concentration is within the range of 3 mM similar to 5.5 mM, the relationship between glucose concentration and response current appears to be linear.
