Coefficients of selfhyphen;diffusion have been measured in liquid C2D2; the data are represented byDequals; (6.37 plusmn; 1.65) times; 10minus;3exp minus; (1.96 plusmn; 0.11)sol;R T cm2secminus;1. Deuteron spinhyphen;lattice relaxation time data are represented byT1equals; (4.04 plusmn; 0.57) times; 101exp minus; (1.26 plusmn; 0.08)sol;R T sec. The diffusion coefficient data are interpreted by means of a quasilattice model for selfhyphen;diffusion which yields a prehyphen;exponential factor of 5.2 times; 10minus;3cm2secminus;1. Rotational correlation times are computed from theT1data and interpreted in terms of the quasilattice random flight and the dynamically coherent rotation models for molecular rotation. Both models give reasonably good agreement with experiment.
