Belgian Lizzie makes progress

Restoration work on the Sabena Old Timers Westland Lysander MIA, V9312/OO-SOT, is nearing completion in Brussels. Engine runs were due in August, with a hoped-for first flight in September. The aircraft will be painted to represent a Lysander of No 161 Sqn RAF, with the serial V9723 and codes MA-D, the same scheme it wore until a landing accident at Brussels in July 2001.
