A selfhyphen;consistent modehyphen;coupling theory for incoherent excitation transport is applied to the calculation of excitation dynamics in solution. The long time transport properties for multipolar,w(r)sim;(sgr;/r)m, exchange,w(r)sim;explsqb;minus;(rminus;sgr;)/R)rsqb;, and Gaussian,w(r)sim;explsqb;minus;(r2minus;sgr;2)/ggr;2rsqb;, transfer rates are compared using the same selfhyphen;consistent procedure.ris the intermolecular separation, and sgr; is the molecular hardhyphen;sphere diameter. Diffusive behavior is found to hold at long times in all cases. However as the transfer rates become more short range (increasingmand decreasingRand ggr;), the diffusion coefficient shows an abrupt variation with density, which resembles a percolation transition.
