Nitrification in a submerged attached cells reactor is limited by oxygen concentration. In this work hydrogen peroxide has been used as an oxygen source : 70 mg/1 inlet oxygen concentration has been reached without inhibition. Nitrification efficiency is then proportional to inlet oxygen concentration and 0.72 kg N (NH4+)m3. j can be oxidized.
