Fluorescence of benzyl chloride in the vapor phase

Fluorescence spectra, fluorescence quantum yields, and fluorescence lifetimes of benzyl chloride vapor were measured at various excitation wavelengths. Values of the fluorescence quantum yield have an order of 10minus;4and the fluorescence decay has been represented by a combination of two exponential functions.
