New configuration for a superconducting weak link

We report here a new method of making a Josephson device which, in some respects, is the fabricated equivalent of a point contact. The configuration has the potentiality for good heathyphen;removal properties and has been shown to be temperature cyclable. TheIhyphen;Vcharacteristics,Ichyphen;Tdependence, andIchyphen;Brelation for a parallel pair are given.
