This paper describes the pulse magnetization of an isotropic permanent magnet disc to provide a precise multiple structure with different magnet pole widths. The magnetization problem coupled with the discharge electrical circuit is solved for different cross sections of the magnet located in the magnetizing fixture. The magnetization vector then is imported into the static model of a sensor magnet. Based on finite-element analysis (FEA) the magnetizing fixture has been built and tested. The flux measurement shows that the precision of magnetization is in the range of ±0.5°.
