摘要

The rate coefficients for threehyphen;body, ionhyphen;neutral association have been measured at room temperature for the clustering of the atmospheric gases CO2, N2, and O2to NOplus;. The rate coefficients are 2.4times;10minus;29cm6sol;sec for CO2with CO2as the major third body (Map;CO2), 2times;10minus;31cm6sol;sec for N2(Map;N2), and 9times;10minus;32cm6sol;sec for O2(Map;O2). Estimated experimental error is plusmn;30percnt;, and the effect of possible additional uncertainties is indicated. The rate coefficients for collisional dissociation of the cluster ions have upper limits of sim;2times;10minus;11cm3sol;sec for NOplus;(N2) and sim;1times;10minus;11cm3sol;sec for both NOplus;(O2) and NOplus;(CO2).
