Special quarter VIERTEL ZWEI begins at Krieau metro Station, just a stone's throw from the Vienna Prater. On an area of more than 120,000 m~2 IC Development GmbH developed a high quality, mixed function piece of city here, focusing on the development of a specific character. That this has been achieved is due in no small part to the open space conceived by the Berlin office of WES LandschaftsArchitektur as the calling card of the district, so to speak. The core is an artificial lake with footbridge in which the striking buildings are reflected. The first building phase was completed in 2010. From the metro the curved 80-metre-high office tower HOCH ZWEI (Henke Schreieck Architekten) that widens as it rises upwards is like an urban planning signal. In an easterly direction the sharp-edged office buildings PLUS ZWEI, BIZ ZWEI (architect Martin Kohlbauer) and STELLA ZWEI (Zechner Zechner) are placed one after the other along the water-side promenade. Stella-Klein-L?w-Weg is a connecting cross-route that runs past the elementary school (Martin Kohlbauer) and along the southern side of the lake, where the offices of IC Development GmbH are housed in LOFT ZWEI, a brick building dating from 1910 . Behind this the four crescent moon-shaped office buildings of RUND VIER (Henke Schreieck) form a playful counterpart to HOCH ZWEI, beside them the HOTEL ZWEI (Zechner Zechner) on Trabrennstra?e terminates this section of the development.
