Exact ground and excited state secondhyphen;order properties of the hydrogen atom. I. Polarizabilities

Using the exact generalized Green's functions for the first three energy levels of the hydrogen atom, we have computed the static dipole polarizabilities for theSstates. The calculations were done analytically and exactly on a digital computer using the listhyphen;processing language LISP.
