An analysis of highhyphen;temperature diffusion experiments in densehyphen;fluid mixtures reaffirms that the hardhyphen;sphere theory is nearly quantitative in its predictions. It is necessary to apply the accurate hardhyphen;sphere theory which involves corrections to the Enskog theory due primarily to a long persisting vortex flow. This correction has the expected qualitative dependence on the mass of the diffusing species as determined from molecular dynamics and confirmed by the analysis of the experiments.
